Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. received attention at the 2013 ICAPP special meeting

At the 2013 ICAPP special meeting held on May 30-31 in Xi’an, Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. received attention from representatives of political parties from Asian countries. Many delegates stopped in front of the Group’s publicity booth to ask about the advanced technologies and developments in the coal and coal chemical industries.
More than 200 representatives of 30 parties from 50 countries in Asia attended the ICAPP special meeting, where the theme was to promote green development and jointly build a beautiful Asia, to explore sustainable development for Asian countries and to build a platform for Asian political parties to exchange and develop an understanding of sustainable development and practice. More than ten large state-owned enterprises from the province were invited to take part in the exhibition; among them, Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. garnered great attention from the delegates because of its grand booth layout, eye-catching exhibition design, beautiful and detailed corporate brochure, and professional staff. It attracted nearly two hundred visitors, issuing hundreds of corporate brochures.
The display of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. mainly focused on the theme of the conference: green development. The display highlighted the significant achievements of the Group in recent years, including the strategy of “development of coal as the core, the coal chemical industry as the leading business, along with diversified complementary development”, using advanced technology and practice in efficient and safe development of coal, the use of low concentration gas, a new generation of methanol to light olefins (DMTO- II), etc. Delegates from India showed great interest on the Group’s efficient and clean use of coal, understanding that this is a good way to realize green, low-carbon development in energy enterprises. Delegates from Turkey and Malaysia were attracted by the new generation of methanol to olefins (DMTO- II) technology, and they asked many detailed questions, believing that the promotion and application of this technology will drive the Asian countries to build a more energy-efficient environment.
