On the afternoon of May 28, Mr. Charles, the director of refining, marketing and technology research at BP, and the director of the Shanghai Bike Energy Technology Co. Ltd., came to Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. They had a meeting with Yang Zhaoqian, General Manager of the Group; Shang Jianxuan, Deputy General Manager; the relevant personnel from the Technology Research Institute and the Shaanxi Coal Chemical Engineering Technology Center. The development of the coal chemical industry and technological development and application problems were discussed in order to actively seek opportunities for cooperation.

General Manager, Yang Zhaoqian welcomed the visitors on behalf of the Group, he said BP is a company with a long history, and with very successful world-leading experience in operations, project management, technological development, market development, and so on. He hopes the two companies can continue to seek opportunities for cooperation, and progress more actively on the Methanol Mixed Olefins Project to achieve common development and a win-win situation.

Mr. Charles introduced BP and their research related to current world energy, he said thatChinahas a huge potential to develop the coal chemical industry, and he hoped the two companies can strengthen their exchanges and launch a deep cooperation in coal chemical technology research and development.

At the meeting, Shang Jianxuan, Deputy General Manager of the Group and the engineer from Shanghai Bike Energy Technology Co. Ltd. introduced the development of their business and technology development in recent years. Zhang Junmin, the Deputy General Manager of theTechnologyEngineeringCenterof the Group, spoke about the cooperation between the two companies on the Methanol Mixed Olefins Project.
