On October 15, 2009, a conference for the Top 500 Chinese Chemical Enterprises was held in Yiyang, Hunan. The Top 500 Chinese Chemical Enterprises (2009) and the Top 100 Chemical Enterprises with Best Growth were announced at the conference. Among the Top 500 Chinese Chemical Enterprise (2009), two Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. companies were listed, Shaanxi Huashan Chemical Industry Group Co. Ltd. ranked as number 163 and Shaanxi Weihe Coal Chemical Industry Limited Company placed at number 291. Compared with their positions in 2008, Shaanxi Huashan climbed 134 places and Shaanxi Weihe moved up 66 spots in the rankings. (Xu Baoping)
