On the afternoon of May 17th, Shaanmei Group announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial SASAC on the principal group leaders’ appointments and removals in the cadre meeting. Jiang Feng, Shaanxi vice governor, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech. Tian Xiaodong, deputy minister of the organization department of the provincial party, director of the building office of provincial party and base office, Zhang Zongke, deputy secretary general of the provincial government, and Sun Anhui，party secretary of the Provincial SASAC attended the meeting. The enterprise cadre leaders of the organization department of the provincial party, the management principals of the provincial SASAC, the leadership team members of the group, the chairman, and supervisors of the supervisory department, the main organ principals, the leadership team members of the share company, and the main party principals of the company-owned units attended the meeting. Sun Anhui chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, firstly Tian Xiaodong read the appointment document about the major leadership positions. Provincial Party Committee decided that Yang Zhaoqian was appointed as the party secretary of Shaanmei Group and Hua Wei was removed the party secretary position to retire. The party committee of the Provincial SASAC decided that Hua Wei was removed the party member position of the Shaanmei Group. The Provincial SASAC decided that Hua Wei was removed the director of Shaanmei Group, and board director of Shaanmei co.,Ltd.

Hua Wei made the stand to speak at the meeting, he briefly recalled his main work experience, particularly that of in Shaanmei Group, and shared his job feelings. He also gave hopes and suggestions on the current reform and development. Finally, he expressed his heartfelt thanks to the superior organizations and all staff of Shaanmei Group, thanks to their trust, support, help and care.

Yang Zhaoqian, party secretary as well as chairman, declared 4 points at the meeting. Firstly, Hua Wei’s work spirit is worth learning; Secondly, we must persistently strengthen and improve the party’s construction; Thirdly, we should deepen reform and promote the enterprise’s restructuring and development; Fourthly, we would overcome and twist difficult conditions. He said, with gratitude and no distractions, he would struggle with the Group cadres and workers to make the Shaanmei Group into a modern energy enterprise that is prominent in main business, and distinctive in new economy and make new and greater contributions for the economy growth, structure adjustment and reform promotion with lifetime energy and efforts.

Jiang Feng made an important speech at the meeting. He pointed out that the personnel adjustment was an important decision made through repeated deliberation and careful consideration with starting from the development reality of the Group. Jiang Feng highly affirmed the outstanding achievements Hua Wei made since becoming the major leader of the Group, he also affirmed the reform measures Yang Zhaoqian took as the chairman, and gave his work the ardent hope as party secretary. Jiang Feng put forward four requirements for the development and reform and the party’s construction: Firstly, thoroughly implement the meeting’s spirit of making industry steady growth, adjusting the structure, promoting reform as well as improving efficiency of work and videophone, and fully push the sustainable and healthy development. Going all out to keep steady growth, and ensuring the completion of annual objectives and tasks; making great efforts to adjust the structure; greatly improving the competitiveness of the coal industry in our province; highlighting the key points, and striving to make a breakthrough in the reform; strictly controlling costs and strengthening management, firmly winning the battle of improving the quality and efficiency. Secondly, carefully arrange and actively push forward structural reform of productivity and supply-side. Thirdly, pay special attention to the safety production work. Fourthly, attach great importance to the work of party construction, and effectively doing both well. Currently we must focus on the education work of "learning two and doing one". He believed that Shaanmei Group will successfully accomplish their missions, create greater glories and continue to write a new chapter in enterprise reform and development under the leadership of new leader group.

Sun Anhui requested in the closing meeting that the Group leaders and staff officers should study hard, deeply understand the speech spirits of Jiang Feng, the deputy governor and effectively carry out to implement. He stressed that 2016 is the beginning year of the "13th Five-Year-Plan" and also is the crucial year to comprehensively deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises. All staff of Shaanmei Group, under the correct leadership of the provincial government, centering on the target, and facing the difficulties, engage in the enterprise reform and development, and push forward the various work with more full of enthusiasm and active work state, in order to keep the Group’s stable growth and make new contributions for the province's economic and social development.
