Following by the release of Nov. 5^th to cut down major customers’ coal and electricity, on Nov. 21^st, ShaanMei Group released another reduction: from zero on Nov. 22^nd, based on the reduction of ten yuan per ton on Nov.5^th, coal prices will once again be reduced by five yuan per ton, which will benefit six major power enterprises named Huaneng, Huarun, Huadian, Datang, Guodian, Guodiantou, whose direct supplies are Hongliulin, Ningtiaota, Zhangjiamao, which all belong to Shennan mine lot. A reduction of five tons per ton for group-owned direct supply power enterprise.

Under the consistent pressure of coal market, ShaanMei Group had made a series of initiative reductions so as to preserve market price order, which has played an important role in stopping the fluctuation of coal prices. YanGuanglao, general manager of Shaanmei Group, said that as a large-scaled stated-owned energy enterprise, at the crucial moment of facing peak and spending winter, Shaanmei Group will take national welfare and the people's livelihood into consideration, having political and overall awareness, playing the advantages of leading supplies, assuring price stabilization and adequate supply to take responsibilities and share burdens of government.

The group asked all subordinates to arrange this reduction coordinately, make sure the supply of the six major electric power companies. The mount of direct supply should be increased, while trade volume decreased, if necessary, policy of foreign trade should be restricted, delayed, decreased, or even suspended, and try every means to satisfy the coal needs of interior enterprises, middle or long-term cooperative major clients.

WangZengqinang, vice manager of ShaanMei Group, introduced that presently group-owned  coal producing enterprises are organizing production, on the premise of safety and shipping ability, do our best to come off resource allocation and coal supply, to ensure the steady operation of power enterprises during New Year's Day and Spring Festival.
