On November 14, 2013, the construction project of the Shennan Ningtiaota Coal Mine and Coal Preparation Plant (12 million tons per year) passed a comprehensive inspection by the National Energy Bureau, Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Provincial Bureau of Coal Supervision. At this point, three pairs of new mines of Ningtiaota, Hong Liulin and Zhang Jiamao owned by Shennan Company, and two supporting projects, the Hong-Ning Railway and the industrial development company, have all completed basic construction. At present, Shennan Company’s mines have all achieved full production and the system is in normal operation; among them, the mines of Zhang Jia Mao, Hong Liulin, and Yuyang have been certified to reach production capacities of 15 million tons per year, 10 million tons per year, and 3 million tons per year respectively. The production capacity certification of Ningtiaota Coal Mine, at 15 million tons per year, can be completed in the near future; the 4 million tons per year modification and expansion project for Longhua Coal Mine, located in Sunjiacha, is underway; Shennan Company’s Hong-Ning Railway has been completed, the electric coal transportation line and supporting Shennan Industrial Development Company have the supporting capacity for an annual output of 60 million tons per year, including railway transportation, underground excavation and equipment installation, production equipment maintenance, staff training, etc. This also marks the occasion that the first 10 million tons per year cluster mining area of the Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. is formally completed.
