On June 18 to 19, Yang Zhaoqian, chairman and party secretary of Shaanmei Group, was awarded as 2015―2016 "national excellent entrepreneur" by China Enterprise Confederation, China Entrepreneurs Association and China Enterprise Management Science Foundation in 2016 National Entrepreneurs' Day and Entrepreneur Annual Meeting of China,

With "stimulate entrepreneurial spirit and develop entrepreneurial ability" as its theme, the annual meeting aims to implement the guiding principles of the 18th National Party Congress and the third, fourth and fifth plenary sessions of the 18th CPC Central Committee, study and put into practice the guiding principles from General Secretary Xi Jinping's major speeches, further promote the entrepreneurs’ spirit " dare to be first and work hard to win ", push enterprise reform and innovation, and make new contributions for building a moderately prosperous society.

At the meeting, Wang Zhongyu, vice chairman of the 10th NPC and president of China Enterprise Confederation and China Entrepreneurs Association, delivered a keynote speech. Wang Wenbin, deputy director of SASAC attended the meeting and made an important speech. Winners for Yuan Baohua Enterprise Management Gold Award and National Excellent entrepreneurs were commended and awarded trophies and certificates.

It is reported that "National Excellent Entrepreneurs" has been awarded since 2002, and selected every two years. The award is recognized as the National business highest honor established by China Enterprise Confederation and China Entrepreneurs Association for promoting the entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging and commending the outstanding contributions of entrepreneurs in Chinese economic and social development.
